Summary: | •Solutions of Schrӧidinger equation with a combination of two potential was studied.•A normalized radial wave function was obtained.•Four molecules were numerically studied with their spectroscopic parameters.•Momentum expectation value was calculated from Fisher information.•Hulthẻn potential as a special case of the combined potential was studied.
An approximate solution of the radial Schrödinger equation for D-dimensional system has been studied in the presence of a combination of two molecular potentials via parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov method using a suitable approximation scheme to the centrifugal term. The ro-vibrational energy for CrH, NiC, CuLi and ScF were numerically studied using their respective spectroscopic parameters. We have also calculated the momentum expectation value from Fisher information using Cramer-Rao uncertainty relation. A special case of the combined potential (Hulthén potential) was also studied numerically and the results were found to be in excellent agreement with those in the literature. |
