Summary: | This study analyzes the impact of climatic conditions on the development of grain and leguminous crops in the Trans-Baikal region. Insufficient precipitation, droughts, early frosts, and a short growing season limit the choice of crops suitable for cultivation in the region. Grain crops, which occupy the largest share of sown areas, are chosen as the object of research. Based on theoretical and economic analysis and data on sown areas, yield, average temperature, and precipitation during the growing season, a regression model has been constructed to assess the impact of climatic factors on the gross grain harvest in the Trans-Baikal region. |
