Summary: | Conventional lymphangiography uses Lipiodol, an oil based viscous contrast medium. Lipiodol is injected into the lymphnode and the opacified lymphatic channels are visualized under fluoroscopy. This case report is of a 40 yrs old female patient, who had extensive chylous ascites due to post surgical lymphatic channel interruption and leak. The diagnosis was confirmed with Conventional lymphangiogram and the leaking channel was successfully embolized with glue cast. |
