Description
Summary:This study primarily focuses on the analytical investigation of thermal-bioconvection in the nanoliquid layer confined between two horizontal parallel walls. Bioconvection is considered to be driven by thermotactic microorganisms. Flow governing equations are modeled using Buongiorno’s model and microorganism concentration equations are modeled using Pedley’s model. The Eigenvalue problem, obtained by Normal mode analysis, is solved by the weighted residual Galerkin method using trigonometric trial functions. It is observed that the presence of nanoparticles and fast swimmers has destabilized the system since the convection is occurring from top to bottom. Moreover, the system is becoming more stable with the decrease in the diffusivity of the cells.
