Summary:The article considers the current trends in the development of the tourism and hospitality industry as the most important ways to develop the geographical, cultural, social and political space. The article analyzes the state support measures for service sector enterprises, as well as the main current problems among tour operators and travel agents, which were identified by the Russian Union of Travel Industry. Recommendations for the development of tourism in the current situation are given, two key trends of the tourism industry for 2021 are analyzed.
