Summary:This paper focuses on the design and control of unmanned ground vehicle for search and rescue missions which is controlled remotely. This robot is able to move on a variety of surfaces, also having capability of Picking and Placing of various objects and overcome the dangerous areas. The unmanned system is controlled wirelessly using Xbee wireless communication technology. A camera is attached on this mobile robot for live feedback purpose.  Many experiments are conducted to test the potential and performance of the robot.
