Summary: | A 49-year-old woman with type 2 diabetes and hypertension presented to our outpatient department with complaint of wasting of facial muscles on both sides of face for the last 8-10 months. On further workup, she also had other signs and symptoms of metabolic syndrome. We ruled out other causes of lipodystrophy. Therefore, probably, this is the first case of acquired partial lipodystrophy of face associated with resistant diabetes. |
