description In order to realize quality tracing of cold-chain logistics and real time temperature and humidity data acquisition and transmission, based on analysis of the current method for cold-chain logistics data acquisition and transmission, a new method which integrating radio frequency identification (RFID) with wireless sensor network (WSN) was put forward. The system scheme design and network communication protocol was investigated. The RFID based quality traceability platform was designed. This platform can be used to monitor the quality of products and the environment in real time. It can realize all the way traceability of agriculture products and temperature and humidity monitor on cold chain from transport and storage. By comparison with the previous management system about the cold chain logistics, this quality traceability platform can reduce product loss and ensure product quality better.
