Se describe e ilustra Cyclolobium brasiliense, un nuevo género para la flora argentina, coleccionado en Andresito en una isla del río Iguazú, Departamento General Belgrano, en el norte de la provincia de Misiones. Se realizan comentarios sobre la posición sistemática de esta especies y géneros afines.
