Charter Schools and Race: A Lost Opportunity for Integrated Education

Used data from many sources to study segregation patterns in U.S. charter schools, primarily through school-level analyses. Findings show that charter schools face high levels of segregation, sometimes higher than the public schools, although there are large variations among schools. (SLD)
