Az eddigi tapasztalatokról, a lehetőségekről, az eredményekről és a tervekről szól ez a tanulmány, amely röviden bemutatja az állóképes arcképelemzés történetét, majd nemzetközi kitekintést ad, ismerteti a jogszabályi kereteket, a rendszer működését, végül pedig vázolja a jövőbeli fejlesztési lehetőségeket.
