Description
Summary:The influence of the scallop Mizuhopecten yessoensis on different stocking densities on the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of phytoplankton in the flow tank has been studied. The water was supplied directly from Vostok Bay, Sea of Japan. The scallop seed densities in the experiment were 0.313; 0.625 and 1.25 ind./l. There are 15 species of microalgae in the incoming stream, dominated by Skeletonema complex and Talassionema nitzschioides . At the output of the tank, the following were found: Bacteriastrum furcatum , Cocconeis scutellum , S. complex , Thalassiosira sp. and T. nitzschioides .
