Description
Summary:The WPOA was envisioned to foster an enduring professional and personal relationship between Pacific regions with the values of friendship, camaraderie, co-operation and a mutual sharing of experiences, expertise and up-to-date technologies.1 Around the same time, The Journal of Western Orthopaedic Association, the official journal of the WPOA began. By this time, the little acorn had grown into a big oak tree.2 We further strengthened the journal, established section editors to help with the review process, gave it a new face,3 and received our first official impact factor.
