A cross-sectional study was carried out to determine associated factors to self-rated health of Afro-Colombian migrants from Choco to Medellin, Colombia. It applied a telephonic survey to 392 Afro-Colombian migrants from Choco to Medellin and calculated PR with IC95% to explore the relationship between social, demographic, and self-rated health. The multivariant technique was a lineal generalized model to categoric dependent variables, reporting PR with IC95%. The results show that the prevalence of bad self-rated health is significant in those who need health attention in the last six months (PR=4.31; IC95%=2,68-6,91) and lower educational level (PR=2,05; IC95%=1,32-3,18). In conclusion, having less education and needing health attention in the last six months are related to bad self-rated health in Afro-Colombian migrants from Choco to Medellin. |
