Description
Summary:Abstract Abdominal hernias represent common conditions and occur when a structure of the abdominal cavity protrudes through a defect in the abdominal wall. Recently, there has been an increase in demand from the clinical teams to confirm the clinical suspicion of an abdominal wall hernia, and to assess preoperatively large or complex hernias through imaging. This pictorial review aims to present the different appearances of abdominal wall and lumbar region hernias on imaging.
