Summary:A taxonomic revision of the genus LeConte, 1881 (Coleoptera: Phengodidae) is provided, including new data on geographic ranges of the species. This is the first time this genus has been recorded for Belize and in Honduras. Four new species ( , , and ) are described and a new synonymy ( , Zaragoza-Caballero, 1991 = Wittmer, 1976) is established. The study includes a key to the 30 valid species, diagnoses, descriptions, photographs and distribution maps.
