Summary:ABSTRACT Introduction: Toilet training if not trained can leads the children to experience psychological problems.  Mother’s alertness plays a very important role in toilet training which is vital for the better growth and development of a child. Thus the objective of the study was to find out the determinants of awareness regarding toilet training among mothers. Methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study design was carried out among 100 mothers of children aged 1-3 years using non- probability purposive sampling technique of Siddharthnagar Municipality, ward number 3, Rupandehi Nepal. Semi-structured interview schedule from 19th September to 3rdOctober 2021was used to collect data, which were analyzed using descriptive (frequency, percentages, mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (chi-square) with Statistical Package for Social Software version 20.
