Summary:Extracranial carotid pseudoaneurysms are rare. They commonly occur secondary to blunt or penetrating trauma and rarely of spontaneous etiology. Rupture is one of the fatal complications; hence, surgical or endovascular treatment is warranted. We report a case of spontaneous common carotid pseudoaneurysm in a middle-aged female, which was successfully treated with a covered stent-graft.
