Summary: | Results of experimental and theoretical studies of horizontal accelerations of rolls, chocks and housings of strip/sheet rolling stands are shown. Relations between horizontal forces and dynamic rolling torques, sequence of their arise are described. Significant influence of gaps in system ‘chock – housing’ and radial gaps in main drive lines on values of work rolls chocks horizontal impacts against housings is proved. Influence of rolled metal dimensions, mass and speed of rolled metal before metal-in on dynamic forces of work rolls chocks horizontal impacts against housings is described by means of developed mathematical relation. |
