Summary: | The extraordinary journey of the Fakir who got trapped in an Ikea wardrobe, Romain Puértolas, features an Indian fakir in search of a bed of nails in Paris. Excuse for a trip through the difficulties of contemporaneity, the ups and downs of the Fakir, picaresque hero on his journey, entertain and educate. This article proposes to read the work within the framework defined by the picaresque novel and proposes reading it to non-specialists literature students to reach literary education goals as well as educational objectives from the literature (linguistic, discursive, aesthetic and social analysis). The formative voyage, through the preparation of the reception activities, interaction and production encourages reflection and transformation of the reader and are a continuation of the classical principle - entertain and educate. |
