Summary:In this article we address the representations and perspectives practices that underlie student teacher (National University of Comahue) on the aims of teaching history. Results from the completion of a questionnaire to investigate the place of the teaching of history in their initial training and the intentions that guide such training in relation to the teaching of history are offered. Probing on the purposes underlying the students faculty believe that is key to contributing to their initial training and reflect on our place in the training of future trainers look. In this sense, some sense cores for observing not only what we say but how they think about teaching history in their initial training are identified.
