Description
Summary:According to the characteristics of the manoeuvring targets and the superiorities of Terahertz Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (THz‐ISAR), a precise motion compensation method based on image sharpness maximization for manoeuvring targets in the terahertz radar was proposed in this letter. Computational efficiency and compensation accuracy are improved by modified Newton's method. Then a 330‐GHz imaging radar and an experiment on a corner reflector were introduced. The validity of the method was verified, by the experimental results, to be promising in THz‐ISAR imaging of manoeuvring targets.
