Description
Summary:The starting premise in proposing and developing this study is that there is an intrinsic conditioning of the development of management science, built around at least three pillars: social phenomena of impact, the perception and internalization of their effects at the level of organizational groups, and methodologies for investigating these characteristic processes. From the simple observation of activities in organizations to the creation of mathematically tractable conceptual models with the help of specialized software packages, management research has gone through and is still going through a complex and complicated path given both the multitude of organizational variables that need to be considered from reality and the nature of interdependencies between variables. The approach to organizational culture, a classic subject of management but with significant potential for new theoretical and practicalapplicative investigations, is also part of this register. The group of authors proposes, after creating an introductory framework on the coordinates of the current state of scientific research in management, the presentation of the main lines of effort useful in the operationalization of factor analysis, applied to identify correlations between organizational culture and sustainable development in higher education institutions.
