Summary:This study presents an approach of financial statements preparation in Romanian mining companies. The necessity of financial statement preparation on Romanian mining companies lies in providing to users a consistent volumes of information with the position of economic and financial performance, image created through presentation of assets, liabilities, equity and their changes, income and expenditure and cash flows. The multitude of information from the financial statements of the organization allows its management to adopt a business strategy viable and investment channeling resources to streamline operations and maximize the result.
