Summary: | The student who access the University understands a curve as a function represented by an equality involving the Cartesian variables x and y. But he does not know another great set of curves such as those described by parametric equations and polar coordinates. We show an experience developed in two consecutive courses in the first course of a bachelor's degree, which allows the students to discover and create many curves in parametric or polar representation, working in group. Also the experience facilitate the students to achieve several generic skills. |
