Summary:In the title compound, C23H26O, the adamantane cage consists of three fused cyclohexane rings in classical chair conformations with absolute values of the C—C—C angles in the range 106.57 (11)–111.56 (12)°. The dihedral angle between the two phenyl rings is 81.38 (4)°. Although a hydroxy group is present as a conceivable donor, no hydrogen bonds are observed in the crystal structure.
