Summary:This report describes a shielding device used to protect the ignition terminal of the Zuni Rocket Motor 16 od 0 from contact with sources of current and from the effects of electromagnetic fields that otherwise might induce current in the ignition circuit and possibly cause premature ignition. The theory of shielding as a protection against radio frequency (RF) fields is reviewed, and instrumentation for detecting RF energy in the ignition circuit is described. Author)
