Summary: | Amplication of the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin-Jeffreys method to a prototype varactor circuit gives the spectrum of the steady state solution. In a linear circuit whose parameters are varied with two independent signals, the resultant spectrum is shown to be the product of the spectra of two signals, either of which is obtainable from the circuit by neglecting the other signal. Hence this circuit is a linear modulator circuit. Numerical examples are used for illustration. (Author)
