Summary:A laboratory evaluation was conducted on the United States Army Medical Biomechanical Research Laboratory's electric elbow including cyclic and functional tests. During the course of this evaluation a number of deficiencies were revealed; however, the overall results were acceptable. Finally, by introducing some modifications the elbow was considerably improved. (Author)
