Summary: | Analysis of the relation between gasdynamics and Boltzmann equations in the description of the kinetic behavior of rarefied gases. The concept of physical and mathematical boundedness is applied in setting a boundary condition for the moment equations of such gases. A new type of boundary conditions is proposed for the Navier Stokes equations of a rarefied gas. (Author)
