The seeding agents were (1) a solution of ammonium nitrate, urea, and water developed during Foggy Cloud I, and (2) water. Of the 19 seeding tests, 17 showed some response to seeding. The results of seeding seven fogs classified as steady-state were completely successful, with ceilings and visibilities improved sufficiently to permit normal flight operations. (Author)
