Summary:The condensations of methyl(pentafluorophenyl)diethoxysilane, methyl(tetrafluorochlorophenyl)diethoxysilane and bis(pentafluorophenyl)diethoxysilane respectively with 1,3-dichlorotetramethyldisiloxane using electrophilic catalysts are described. The results of homo- and co-polycondensation with dimethyldichlorosilane of bis(dimethylchlorosilyl)tetrafluorobenzene and methyl(pentafluorophenyl)dichlorosilane are reported. Properties and T(g) values of the resultant polymers are also discussed. (Author)
