Summary: | Much attention has been devoted to the calculation of multicomponent boundary layers with the presence of coolant injection. The majority of it examines injection of a gaseous coolant, which introduces new components inside the boundary layer leading to a decrease of heat transfer coefficients and heat flows. Some works investigate heat exchange in the presence of a liquid film on the surface of the body. Such a film can appear during the partial melting of the surface or from injection of a liquid coolant. In this work in exact formulation, there is studied the effect of the distributed feed of liquid coolant on flow and heat exchange in the vicinity of the critical point.
