Calculations for a VUV Laser from Sodium Vapor Pumped by Radiation from an Exploding Wire

Calculations are carried out for a 372 A laser from Sodium using the blackbodylike radiation emitted from an exploding wire. The gain calculations indicate that such a laser is highly probable. (Author)
