Various techniques for measuring optical constants as well as the underlying theory are reviewed. The visible and infrared optical constants are tabulated for phosphorous pentoxide, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, zinc chloride, plastics, carbon, aluminum, and aluminum oxide. (Author)
