Summary:This Appendix is concerned with the management of watershed lands and water in order that damaged lands be restored in a timely manner and that future use of these resources of land and water benefit the economic and environmental needs of a growing population in the best way possible. In order to present these aspects of the Area, the Appendix necessarily concerns itself with actual and potential problems of management rather than the generally high existing quality found at this time (1969).
