Summary:The overall objectives of this report are to assess the impacts, both positive and negative, of the Corps of Engineers' activities on Pool 8 (confluence of Root River, LaCrosse River with the Mississippi River) on the Upper Mississippi River. The report includes an analysis of natural and socioeconomic systems. The natural systems include terrestrial and aquatic plant and animal life, geology and water quality.
