Mutagenic Potential of Methyl-N, N' Dihexylethylene Diamine Monocarbamate (CHR4) abd 1,2,3,4-Tetrahydro-6-Methyl-1-(3-Methyl-1-Oxo-2- Butenyl) Quinoline (CHR6)

The mutagenic potential of methyl N, N' dihexylethylene diamine monocarbamate (CHR4) and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6-methyl-1-(3-methyl-1-ox o-2-butenyl) quinoline (CHR6) was assessed by using the Ames Salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Mutagenicity Assay. Tester strains TA 98, TA 100, TA 1535, TA 1537 an...

description The mutagenic potential of methyl N, N' dihexylethylene diamine monocarbamate (CHR4) and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6-methyl-1-(3-methyl-1-ox o-2-butenyl) quinoline (CHR6) was assessed by using the Ames Salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Mutagenicity Assay. Tester strains TA 98, TA 100, TA 1535, TA 1537 and TA 1538 were exposed to doses ranging from 0.1% to 3.2 X 10 to the minus 5% of an undiluted sample of CHR4 and 1% to 3.2 X 10 to the minus 4% of an undiluted smaple of CHR6. Results of the Ames Assay indicate that these substances do not have mutagenic potential. (Author)
