Summary:Drops of a multicomponent liquid gun propellant were heated in nitrogen flows up to 650 C and 1250 psi (8.6 MPa). High speed imaging was used to characterize behavior. Preliminary observations showed a strong dependence of drop lifetime on temperature and pressure. Evidence was seen for significant liquid phase chemistry before drop microexplosions.
