Description
Summary:This Study examines the Army's use of technology in education. here defined as the material presented by the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) at the Officer Basic and Advanced Courses the Combined Arms and Services Staff School (CASa). and the Command and General Staff Officer Course (CGSOC). Currently there is a near revolution in the means of delivering education, video, CDROM's, and other devices, along with new learning techniques such as simulations and gaming, experimental learning, group learning, and structured pathing are enhancing the students learning experience. Perhaps one of the most significant educational advances for the Army will be the use of distance learning. especially as resource constraints and Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) activities limit conventional educational opportunities.
