This strategy research project addresses the role of U.S. Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) in power projection, how this role supports the pre-emptive Bush Doctrine, and provides an operational concept for the employment of ARSOF which includes the potential impact of information operations, theater security cooperation plans, military transformation and Joint Presence Policy.
