Summary:We present a summary of the drawbacks and deficiencies that we noticed in the currently available Command Support Systems (CSS) and the methodology we propose to improve them: Situation Awareness support through Cognitive Fusion of Information stemmed out of document analysis. Our approach is divided into two parts: a methodology for situation representation out of document analysis and a methodology for situation analysis and reasoning to support decision-making. The situation representation part is based on the use of conceptual graphs and fusion of nodes in graph structures, whereas the situation analysis part follows Complex Event Processing methodology.
