Summary: | The Mission Impact through Neuro-Inspired Design (MIND) Laboratory is an all-inclusive environment for neuroscience research designed for studying Soldier-system interactions in support of the U.S. Army Research Laboratory's (ARL's) neuroscience research. It provides three acoustically treated and electrically shielded chambers and a control room for conducting multiple simultaneous human research studies in an environment that enables flexible environmental control. The laboratory enables collaborative work among research personnel and facilitates the efficient use of research space and resources while providing a comfortable environment for researchers and research participants. In the long term, the versatility afforded by the MIND Laboratory provides increased flexibility for adapting to the changing research requirements that are driven by rapid advances in neurotechnology. |
