Christian Protten: A Transcription and Translation of Two Early Writings

This article presents a short biography of Christian Protten (1715–1769) based on archival materials as well as a transcription and annotated translation of two of his early writings: a 1735 letter requesting admission to the Moravian Community and his 1737–1741 diary.
