Summary:The research was carried out to determine the motivation of sports participation for licensed skiers who have been actively working for at least 3 years within Bitlis, Erzurum, Hakkâri, Mus Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate. In the sample of this descriptive study, a total of 125 athletes between the ages of 11-19 were included. Frequency, percentage, and arithmetic average calculations were made statistically. Besides, according to normality test, since the data did not show normal distribution, the Mann Whitney U test was used for binary comparisons from nonparametric tests, and Kruskal Wallis H variance analysis was used to compare more than two groups. p
