Summary:This study has been made to sort out scientifically the passage of transformation of roles through curriculum in Punjab Pakistan. The national language textbooks were selected for the discourse. It explores the areas of gender disparity in the existing textbooks at primary level. The focus of the research was to identify the area of gender stereotyping and construction of gender roles creating gender apartheid picture in the textbooks. This Study concluded that the literature reflects male showvanism whereas females role seems to be limited when it is compared with male.
