Summary:This study aims to identify the cementing devices used in the Holy Qur'an, Al-Qasas Surah, in particular. Specific cementing devices appear to connect the phrases and clauses contextualized in the verses of this Surah. Three exegeses and three different translations of the meaning of the Holy Qur'an were referred to in this study for data collection and data analysis. The study's findings indicate that these devices have more than one sense, leading to other meanings and interpretations. The study also concluded that cementing devices reveal additional senses and interpretations of the verses discussed in this Surah. Furthermore, the study highlights the relationship between cementing devices and ambiguity, which appears clearly in the verses and gives rise to a different understanding of the meanings and interpretations of the verses discussed in this paper.
