Summary:The aim of this study is to examine the effect of psycho-education programme based on structured play therapy on the depression and adjustment levels of divorced family children. A structured play therapy psycho-education programme was applied to the experimental group in the research that was carried out with the participation of 16 child between the ages of 9-12 whose parents were divorced. In the study, a semi-experimental design was used in 2X3 (experimental-control group X pre-test/post-test/follow-up test). As a result of the research, it was found that the psycho-education programme developed based on structured play therapy was effective in increasing divorce adjustment levels of 9-12-year olds children whose parents divorced and reduced their depression levels.
