Salt responses of enzymes from rice cultivars differing in salt tolerance. Short communication
The present results indicate that NaCl-stimulated ATPase can be correlated with salt tolerance of species. Invariably the nitrate reductase activity was promoted in salt-tolerant cultivars, AU 1, Co 43 and CSC 1 but it was inhibited in salt-sensitive cultivars by NaCl treatment.
