Description
Summary:The purpose of this study was to document the events of mutual interactions during the initial and advenced stages of infection of pine seedlings inoculated under standarized axenic in vitro conditions and to evaluate the differences in the host defence reactions among progenies of P. sylvestris after prolonged exposure to three strains of H. annosum. Early and advanced stages of infection after prolonged exposure to the fungus were studied with the help of light and transmission electron microscopy
